Among the adjectives that describe Trevor Hoffman’s work ethic? Tenacious, determined, hard worker, impeccable, unbeatable. His work ethic is as much a part of who he is, as are his talent and teamwork attitude. It's an undeniable reason why he had such Hall of Fame worthy success. In 1998 I said he was “emerging” as a dominant closer. In this excerpt of my 2005 One on One sit down with him, he uses a different “e” word to describes himself at that stage in his career.
