By 2005, Trevor and Tracy Hoffman had moved to another home and part of its décor is a hallway with his personal baseball career collection. When we visited them there for our sit down interview in '05, I asked for a tour of what I could see just over his shoulder and to the left of the fireplace.
It is a beautifully designed “mini museum” of his baseball journey; it's chronological, with jerseys, photos, and most significantly, game balls. In the displays, and in drawers, is a ball from every "save" game, marked with dates and key words to remember its significance. There are a few hundred more since that first visit to the house, but this exclusive look then, remains one of the most popular and talked about “images” fans have enjoyed seeing as part of Trevor’s story.
